messenger feature ideas [more ideas]

It seems to me that text-based chat hasn't evolved much lately. Here are some ideas for cool new features on a meebo-like chat system:

1. allow to exchange contact list with friends if they agree
2. show geographic location of all my contacts, based on ip-geolocation (if they wish to make their position public)
3. Show links between my contacts in my list, if they are talking to each other right now
4. Display a world map with all my contacts' locations on it, and arcs connecting people who are talking to each other
5. Display a graph of my contacts, linking those people who also know each other
